Updates from Kettle Moraine Counseling

Hello!  Time to give some updates from Kettle Moraine Counseling.  We have been busy and time flies, although I really want to hang on to summer!  The above picture is from Greece a few weeks ago; my family took a trip there, and it was wonderful all around. Beautiful people, land and my son proposed to his girlfriend there!  It was an exciting trip!

Tracey Watkins-Gobbeo  LPC IT

My counseling theory is an integrative approach incorporating play, cognitive-behavioral therapy, art, mindfulness, and other person- centered therapies that work with treating individuals and families. My passion is working with children presenting with a variety of issues, including behavior issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum, learning and behavioral disabilities, and trauma. I also have experience in treating individuals with developmental delays and cognitive impairments. It is important to me that I use an approach that helps the individual and family focus on their strengths, fostering a path towards success and gain an inner strength to make changes. I have 25-years teaching experience, working with special needs children from ages 3 to 12. The knowledge I gained will foster my growth as a counselor working in a clinical setting. I received my master’s degree in 2017 from Concordia University. For the past 3 years I have worked in a clinical setting with children, adolescents, and young adults.

Tracey works out of the West Bend and Oak Creek offices; please call or email to make an appointment with Tracey.

Other UPDATES:

Oak Creek office is expanding and we hope to be moved by October.

We started a partnership with Slinger Schools this year, and will be providing services in the school for the coming school year.  It's been a great school district to work with.

The need for expanded services in all of our communities is strong and and will continue to try and meet the needs!

We have a partnership with Friends and that is going well; we are glad to provide services to as many people as we can, and many of our therapists have experience/background with domestic violence so Friends has a special place in our hearts.

Until next time:  Be well and kind!
